More About The JB-1
The low profile hard maple “Red” neck is the celebrated feature-joined at the 14th fret with an ebony fretboard and low-wide
jumbo frets to provide that “electric feel.” The scale length is 25.4" and the neck width is 1-11⁄16" at the nut.
The compensated saddle starts with extra wide 3⁄16" bone which drives more sound into the top and ensures studio quality intonation.
The pickup chosen for the JB-1 is the L.R. Baggs active ibeam system with soundhole volume control. The transducer is mounted under the top on the bridgeplate with a pre-amp endpin jack.
This system offers the truest acoustic amplification.
Other standard features include a curly maple pickguard which compliments the red neck. Also a strap button is provided that is securely nested into a machined pocket.
This instrument is built with the serious picker in mind. Sound quality is the primary goal with projection, clarity, tone and balance as the end result.
